Born: June 18, 1976 to Dick & Dorothy

Stats: 6'5" , Brown hair , Blue eyes

Honed his musical skills in Ada, Oklahoma and at the age of 17 moved to Nashville.

Signed with Giant Records and released "Austin" in 2001.
Giant closed and Blake was picked up by Warner Brothers Records.

Blake appeared at the Grand Ole Opry on May 5, 2001--citing it as a "religious experience."

"Austin" went to #1 on July 31, 2001 and stayed there for 5 weeks.

"Blake Shelton", the debut CD, was released on July 31, 2001.

"Austin" and "Ol' Red" produced #1 videos.
Blake was named R&R's Breakthrough Artist of 2001 and Music Row's Critics Pick.

"Blake Shelton" was certified gold on July 31, 2002. It stayed on the Billboard Country Top 40 for 70 weeks.
Blake was voted Favorite New Artist by the fan voted Country Weekly Fan Favorite Awards.

"The Dreamer", Blake's 2nd CD, was released in March 2003.
"The Baby" went to #1 and stayed for 3 weeks.

"The Baby" and "Heavy Liftin'" produced #1 videos.
Blake married his longtime girlfriend, Kaynette "Katt" Williams on November 17, 2003.

Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill was released on October 26th, 2004.

"Some Beach" has achieved Top 10 status and #1 video on GAC.
