The film stars Scarlett Johansson as the nanny and features a star-studded cast that includes Paul Giamatti, Chris Evans and Laura Linney.
Keys portrays the best friend of Johansson's main character.
"The Nanny Diaries" is a satirical comedy based on the New York Times bestselling book written by former nannies Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus. The movie begins filming this month in New York City.
Keys just finished filming another comedy called "Smokin' Aces," in which she plays an assassin. That movie is expected to hit theatres later this year.
