According to USA Today, T-Pain created the track after taking a straight-laced friend -- nicknamed "Choir Boy" -- to a strip club.
T-Pain says the song was inspired by Choir Boy's "funny" reaction to the strip show.
"I made a song about it, but it was just something for us to laugh about," T-Pain told USA Today.
Jive Records thought differently and hooked up T-Pain rapper Mike Jones. The rest, as they say, is history.
