INDIANAPOLIS, IN Wednesday May.24.2006 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- Multi-platinum rockers Staind will help get this year's Indy 500 underway with a special pre-race performance on Sunday, May 28th.

Prior to "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing," Staind will perform live from a stage overlooking the famed "Yard of Bricks" at the start-finish line of the Indy 500. ABC will telecast the pre-race ceremony.
