DUBLIN, IRELAND Tuesday Jul.25.2006 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- U2 is ready to hit the road again.

Earlier this year, the band was forced to postpone the last 10 dates of their Vertigo '06 tour when a member of the band's immediate family became ill.

U2 will now play shows in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Hawaii starting November 7, when they kick things off in Brisbane, Australia. Shows are scheduled through December 9, when the Irish rockers play Honolulu.

According to the band's official website at U2.com, Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West is slated to open the U2 shows in New Zealand and Australia, while Seattle rockers Pearl Jam will provide support at the Honolulu show. U2 stage manager Rocko Reedy will also take the stage with his band "Rocko and the Devils" during the Honolulu concert.

In addition to the rescheduled Australian, New Zealand and Hawaiian dates, U2 has added several concerts for their Japanese fans. The band will play three new shows at Tokyo's Saitama Super Arena on November 29, 30 and December 4.

U2 is touring in support of its latest album "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb."
