NEW YORK, NY Tuesday Aug.8.2006 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- She scored a hit single with "Promiscuous," and now Nelly Furtado is back for a second try with "Maneater."

MTV.com reports that the track "Maneater" will be the second single from Furtado's latest album "Loose."

And no, "Maneater" is not a not a cover of the Hall and Oates hit song from the '80s. It's actually a new song that Furtado described to Rolling Stone as "a 'couture pop' song, where it's in your face and very fashionable, stylistic and of-the-moment."
