The teen idol has landed a recurring role on "The OC," but the part's a bit different that we'd expect from a slick star like Brown. According to Chris, "I play, like, a band geek -- I'm really stepping out of my own character." He added "I was kind of a geek in school, grade-wise. But style-wise, I was always popular and cool."
He says he's ready to do whatever the role calls for, even if that means getting "geeked out." Brown will join the cast of "The OC" this fall.
