NEW YORK, NY Tuesday Sep.4.2007 /netmusiccountdown.com/ --
Timbaland and The Game have recently run into some legal trouble, reports World Entertainment News Network (www.wenn.com).
Indian music and film company Saregama India Ltd are claiming that the pair sampled one of their songs without permission, and have filed a lawsuit against Timbaland's Virginia Beach Music and The Game's Black Wall Street, as well as Interscope Records, Universal Music Group, Aftermath Entertainment, G-Unit Records and Czar Entertainment.
The company is suing over The Game track "Put You On The Game" off his 2005 album The Documentary. Timbaland produced the track.
This isn't the first time Saregama India has filed an infringement suit against a hip-hop star - Dr. Dre was in a legal tangle with the very same company back in 2002.
