BURBANK, CA Friday Jan.23.2004 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- In what could be the most polarizing occurrence in music since the glory days of prog rock vs. punk rock, the trinity of Beyonce, Britney and Pink have recorded a version of "We Will Rock You" by the legendary Queen for their upcoming Pepsi gladiator commercial.

The, perhaps, disturbing aspect of this is that the two of the three surviving members of Queen, Brian May and Roger Taylor actually played on the track. Bassist John Deacon thought better of the whole affair, perhaps.

"We Will Rock You" had previously been butchered by metal-lite rockers Warrant for a soundtrack.
