LOS ANGELES, CA Monday Aug.23.2004 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- When Britney Spears ties the knot in November with Kevin Federline, it won't just be a marriage – it may also be a career move.

Australia's Undercover Music News reports that Spears and fiancé Federline are meeting with MTV about becoming the next stars of "Newlyweds." Current Newlyweds stars Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey have said they will discontinue the show after three years.

If Spears and Federline make a deal with MTV, the Newlyweds season will reportedly start two weeks before the wedding and include the wedding in the series.

The timing couldn't be better for Spears, who releases a greatest hits album November 16.
