LOS ANGELES, CA Friday Sep.10.2004 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- On October 3, Blink-182 will "Stand Up for Skateparks," when the band plays a special concert to benefit the Tony Hawk Foundation.

Blink-182's performance is just one portion of the afternoon fundraising event, called "Stand Up for Skateparks," that will help bring high-quality, public skateparks to kids in lower income communities. Skateboarding great Tony Hawk and skateboard pros Bob Burnquist and Andy Macdonald will be on hand to give demonstrations, and comedian David Spade will provide comic relief.
