The two-disc benefit album is called "For the Lady: Dedicated to Freeing Aung San Suu Kyi and the Courageous People of Burma." Rhino Records will release "For the Lady" on October 26. Proceeds from the album's sales go to US Campaign for Burma, a non-profit organization.
Known as "Asia's Nelson Mandela," Kyi won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1991. She has been under house arrest by the current Burmese government for the past 14 years for her pro-democracy work in that country.
