Wednesday afternoon, U2.com announced that the Irish rockers would be filming their latest video clip for the song "City of Blinding Lights," off the group's latest album "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb."
U2 fans living in the Vancouver area were invited to attend the exclusive filming at the same venue where U2 will perform sold-out concerts tonight (April 28) and tomorrow (April 29). About 4,000 fans were allowed entry on a "first-come, first-served" basis.
French directors Alex and Martin, who won a Grammy for directing U2's "Vertigo" video, shot the live clip. Alex and Martin have also worked with other artists including the White Stripes, Jane's Addiction, Air and Kylie Minogue.
