Faith was deeply involved in all aspects of producing the record, from song selection, through mixing and delivering the master. And, even though Fireflies is decidedly more "country" than Cry, Faith says her hands on, artistic work as a producer (along with Byron Gallimore and/or Dan Hugg, prepared her well for this new album.
"I hadn't listened to the finished version of Cry until just a few weeks ago," Faith admits. But after hearing it again she said, "I'm very proud of that album," she says.
And after listening to it again she realized, "I couldn't have made this album (Fireflies) without having made the last album."
