LOS ANGELES, CA Friday Sep.23.2005 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- At rehearsals last week for TV Guide's Emmy party, Missy Elliott tore her Achilles tendon.

But did she cancel her appearance at the party? No way.

In true "the-show-must-go-on" spirit, Missy stopped by TV Guide's soiree on Sunday and also performed on crutches, reports MTV.com.

Missy was scheduled to have surgery sometime this week to repair the torn tendon.

A representative for Missy told MTV that the rapper is resting and in good sprits.
