NASHVILLE, TN Thursday Sep.29.2005 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- Keith Urban gave opening act Miranda Lambert the surprise of her life Sunday when he invited her onstage to join him in an acoustic performance of the classic Merle Haggard song "Silver Wings."

The two ran over the song once during Keith's sound check but wanted it to feel impromptu and refrained from practicing. During an acoustic set in the middle of Keith's performance he proceeded to bring Miranda up. The two were the only ones on stage and the lights were dim. Miranda sang lead and played guitar while Keith sang harmony and played lead guitar.

KEITH'S GROUP WELCOME
Keith Urban and company gave Miranda a surprise welcome when she saw him walk on stage. He, as well as his entire band and crew, were wearing black Miranda Lambert t-shirts.
