Elliott is sending holiday cards that raise money for M.A.C. Cosmetics' annual Kids Helping Kids card campaign. M.A.C. has sponsored the program for the last eleven years.
This year, the money from the sale of Kids Helping Kids cards and gift tags will directly help make treatment available to children and families with HIV/AIDS in Africa and other impoverished countries.
To date, the cards have raised over $1 million. Last year in North America, Kids Helping Kids raised $170,000.
For 2005, the M.A.C. Fund aims to raise $250,000.
The Kids Helping Kids cards feature holiday and winter-themed artwork created by kids ages 5 to 15. The cards are priced at $6 for six cards and the gift tags cost $6 for 12 tags. Both are on sale now at M•A•C stores or online at www.maccosmetics.com.
