And, of course, she's missing home and is a little sad about it but she thinks it's okay," Carrie explains.

Because of the subject matter of the song, Carrie considers it her and her mother's song.

"I was the last of three girls and the next sister up is three years older than I am, so my sisters were much older than me and when they left it was pretty much me and my mom, so I'd just hang out with my mom. So, we were close, a lot closer than a lot of mothers and daughters are. We love each other very much and she was the one I missed the most when I left home, so it's our song."
