LONDON, UK Tuesday Feb.28.2006 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- After wrapping up their 16-month "Twisted Logic" world tour this July, the members of Coldplay won't be splitting up -- they'll be working on material for a new album.

At the UK's Brit Awards a couple week's ago, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin said that the band would be stepping out of the limelight. Some journalists misinterpreted Martin's remarks and reported that Coldplay was calling it quits.

At the end of the current tour, Coldplay will continue working on new material for the follow-up to "X&Y." NME.com reports that the group is even planning to build a private studio in London where the band can record and hash out some of the new material the guys have written during the Twisted Logic trek.
