According to the BBC, the shooting occurred when a man and woman tried to get into the concert without tickets. They were escorted outside, but the man returned and fired on the guards, shooting one in the face, stomach and foot. He is in serious condition and remains in the hospital. The second guard, who reportedly received a minor injury, was released from the hospital.
The police, who stressed that they are not treating it as a gang-related incident, have arrested two suspects and are looking for a third.
Kanye West was playing the final UK date on his "Touch The Sky" tour at the NEC Arena in Birmingham, England when the incident occurred.
