According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Chicago rapper is teaming up with New Line Cinema and Anonymous Content to make a movie inspired by his music.
Kanye will executive produce the untitled flick, along with his manager, G. Roberson, and George C. Wolfe, who directed HBO's Emmy-winning "Lackawanna Blues."
Besides being executive producer, Kanye is set to appear in the film, though there's no word yet on what role he'll play.
As for the movie, Hollywood Reporter describes it as "a multiperspective portrait of the U.S. as seen through the eyes of West and several filmmakers." The film will consist of several short stories linked to one central narrative, and new and previously released music from Kanye will be featured throughout the movie.
