NASHVILLE, TN Friday Mar.24.2006 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- Next week, Carrie Underwood will give fans a look at the eight Video of the Year nominees for the 2006 CMT Music Awards.

Underwood will host the Video of the Year Special, which premieres Wednesday, March 29th, at 10:00 pm ET/PT.

The eight nominated videos include Brad Paisley's "Alcohol;" Brooks & Dunn's "Believe;" Faith Hill's (with Tim McGraw) "Like We Never Loved At All;" Gretchen Wilson's "All Jacked Up;" Keith Urban's "Better Life;" Kenny Chesney's "Who You'd Be Today;" Toby Keith's "As Good As I Once Was;" and Trace Adkins' "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk."

The final nominees for Video of the Year will be announced at the beginning of the 2006 CMT Music Awards, premiering live on Monday, April 10th, at 8:00 p.m. ET,* and fans can vote at CMT.com throughout the live broadcast (ET/CT time zones only) to determine the night's big winner.

Underwood is nominated for three 2006 CMT Music Awards for her video, "Jesus, Take the Wheel," including Breakthrough Video of the Year, Most Inspiring Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year.

The 2006 CMT MUSIC AWARDS premiere LIVE on Monday, April 10 at 8:00 PM, Eastern and 7:00 PM, Central; and at 9:00 PM, Mountain and 8:00 PM, Pacific (tape delayed).
